Yeah... Like I have to give it more leniency because it IS an otome game but like... it really felt like they where doing a cool subversion and exploration of this character trope and it was REALLY successful! like the story pushes him to his worst behavior and then makes him have to confront the fact that he has to actually confront the protagonist feelings AND respect them. Not just in a superficial way but like in a way where both he and the protagonist are able to be closer without entering into a romantic relationship. But then they get together anyway so what was the point?

Yeah! There are several routes where the protagonist has to confront her prejudice about the aliens, but it feels the most relevant here. There's also a really interesting part in the "True End" where due to plot reason all the aliens "have" to die (they are not naturally occuring organisms and where actually creatures created by and being taken care of by an AI). And where all the other characters are just like "it's sad, but at least they got to live" and Chigasaki get's mad and is like "If they have to die at least don't belittle them and then pat yourselves on the back"

So far the protagonist of the game is asleep for like 1/3rd of the game? Which I know is how irl works but is kind of funny for a game. The sleeping parts are where you get to play the card game (this game is also a hanafuda simulator as well as a dating sim) so probably if I didn't spend so much time in those she'd spend less of the game asleep but I love playing the card game T 0 T

I love it when they combine a dating sim with some completely different kind of gameplay. Like imagine having to solve Witness puzzles in order to kiss the hot guy. god i wish that was me

So I didn't really explain things correctly before. There are more then two love interests you can pursue it's just that there is only two "true" love interests where all the other ones you cannot get a good end if you pursue them. I bought this game for the fail guy character, but the love interest Himeustugi had a sadness that interested me. So I'm on Himeustugi's route now AND THERE IS LESBIAN TOE SUCKING??? COMPLETELY SEXUAL???? IS THIS ALLOWED ON THE NINTENDO SWITCH???
