Halloween was okay! I went to work dressed as Kagamine Len. One person recognized me! I was the only person I saw that was dressed up but . I almost didn't do it because of ~Anxiety~ but I survived! I think I was kind of stinky all day though.

I've also been writing musiccccccccccccccc, and it's Agony because I Hear It In My Head How Do I Make It Into Real!!!!!!!!!! The lyrics and the singing are one thing, but doing the production is hard and I'm gonna try my best.

I tentatively finished another song this weekend and I think it's really good. But I'm still stuck on writing the music for the song I mentioned in the previous post! I'll probably get there. I need to listen to more music and that'll help. I feel like the reason I'm able to write/compose music at all is because I listen to a lot of it. Winter is coming. I'm not thrilled about it; there's supposed to be heavy snowfall tonight and then it's supposed to stay cold for the foreseeable future. The price of living in Minnesota, I suppose. I had such trouble getting out of bed this morning; had my cat not been so loudly telling me about how he was dying of starvation because he had never been fed before ever in his life, I wouldn't have gotten up in time for work. I was so cozy...

Good morning! Today's been bonkers so far. I overslept, woke up five minutes before my ear appt, scrambled out of bed to get on a bus, got on the wrong bus, walked the rest of the way to end up 25 minutes late, and they still took me thank the stars. It's good it ended up working out because they found like a crazy amount of demon earwax this time. Now I'm gonna go home and eat breakfast and maybe work and think about eating chicken katsu later.

I finished watching The Summer Hikaru Died yesterday and I'm not okay!!!!! I'm crazayy BARK BARK BARK BARK. It's so TAU coded and also these two homos struggling in different ways with grief and feeling like monsters are so peak character!!!! I am waiting feverishly for the library to tell me I can check out the first volume of the manga because I need it like oxygen. For every minute I don't have it in my hands I will bite one (1) person.

The holidays should be restful indeed, going to be doing a bit of snow-driving to the homestead tomorrow but at least I took black friday off this year and get the loong weekend.

re: whiny cats, we had some breakfast motivated cats growing up but my current cat is not super vocal nor food motivated. she does nonvocally beg for stuff sometimes, especially with a treat routine late at night. But if she ever wakes me up in the morning it's being a gremlin with scratching at stuff, puking, and similar shenanagins.
