Good morning!

I discovered another way to get myself up out of bed in a timely fashion: I dreamed about my cat making a distressed noise right outside my room. Got up in no time at all, check outside, and he wasn't even there. Did my normal routine and he showed up for breakfast, perfectly fine.

I did have a weird dream before then too, but I woke up from my alarm too out of it to realize I would like to record it, and now the only thing I remember is I needed to gather peanuts and was using geese(?) to propel myself to the moon where there would obviously be a lot of peanuts. And also the geese weren't flying or anything, they were running and pushing me on a wheeled thing, because apparently the moon is a place you can just roll too?

Oh I decided not to go! The flights were cheap but the hotels were expensive haha. I'm planning to go to Bath this weekend - it's a town with a really cool preserved roman bath!

So far I really like Liverpool! It was very chill, there were a lot of benches right by the river where you could just hang out, and it had a lot of cool museums. Fingers crossed I'll be moving there at the end of June!
That sounds really nice!!! Goodluck with your move! Also wait is the Bath named after the place????

You were in the Rose Red state! Definitely difficult to record a dream when you're like that. Of course geese want to roll you to the moon for peanuts, they love that shit.

I was just talking this morning with my parents (they are visiting) about how one time when I was a child, I saw a cat at the top of the stairs when I was sitting in bed and I told them about it and they straight up did not believe me. And when it happened a second time like a week later they went looking and yeah there was a cat in our house. It got in through a catflap in the kitchen door that was loose (likely because my brothers and I would fiddle with it). My mom had to get a pitcher of water and pour it on the cat because it was hiding behind the fireplace. Bizarre but fun story.

Bath totally is named after the Roman baths there! The UK loves its historical sites.

And yeah I hope Tooth's living situation goes super smoothly! I can't wait to mail you many packages each containing some of my love for you :owo:

Good morning! (It's 2pm...) It's my birthday!! Having a nice time....... @Ori drew me a really wonderful picture!!!! I've set it as my pfp for now! I go insane when people draw art for me, especially if it combines my interests (like the picture of Alcor playing The Witness that @swbookworm drew makes me insane) and this one has 1) Witness 2) Pokemon 3) my Alcor-like pfp guy. I'm winning the world.

I got some books for my b-day! I'm looking forward to reading them instead of staring blankly at youtube!

Yeah Bath was good! It was pretty rainy the day I went to see the roman bath but it was also mostly inside so that was nice. The bath itself was really cool! It's a hot springs and you can see the spring water run under your feet in the museum. They also had a station where you could taste some filtered hot spring water and it was... mostly just warm lmao.

I can't wait to move out too!! Gonna hear the results of my interview Tuesday or Wednesday. Latest I'll move out is June 27th but I'm hoping they'll let me go up sooner :owo:

Good morning

It was so hard to get myself out of bed this morning, I barely made my bus and I had to skip preparing breakfast. Fortunately, depending on how things go today, my work's remote policy might kick in tomorrow and i can sleep in a little more.

Good morning everyone!

@BeelieveinBees I hope that it does so you can sleep more!!! I slept through my alarm again today, but didn't have trouble getting out of bed lol.

This morning I am once again struggling with Spotify : P spotify is incorporating videos more and more into their interface which is not objectively bad, but is bad for me sensory wise :/ I'm not sure if there is a way to just completely turn off videos, but I want to eventually switch to housing my music on my external drive and then streaming it using a 3rd party app. I could maybe even have a good chunk of my music on my phone since I have the big storage now. The only thing is that it would be a pain to do because I have a lot of music I listen to
T u T I'm also a little worried about not finding out when there are new song releases by artist I like since I am not on any kind of social media except discord le sigh.

Owning music is great, would highly recommend. As for keeping up with artists, many artists have email newsletters! I would check their official websites, and if they are on bandcamp you can a) buy mp3s of their music and b) follow them to be notified of any new releases.

Good morning!

My reason for not sleeping last night is this on and off pain in the lower right of my abdomen, which is still here this morning. I am pretty sure it is not appendicitis because I've done the jump test, and the jab test, and also appendicitis would get worse and worse and worse instead of being kind of on and off like it is. It's still quite uncomfortable though, like it's a little more stabby than usual. My guess is that it is the classic Star stomach nonsense and it has just decided to be really mean to me so that I'm anxious.

Have you not had a remote policy this whole time?? How long have you worked there?

I agree with Bees, tbh I do think Spotify incorporating video into the interface *is* objectively bad by the sound of it. I mean I don't use Spotify so I don't exactly know what that means but everything Spotify does is shady. Owning your own music really is what boss bitches do!! But also I totally understand what you mean about not learning about new releases; I hadn't even really thought of Spotify being a good way to do that. Sometimes I ask Bees for tips on how to learn about new releases.

Speaking of which I still don't have the new Marina album!! It shipped on Tuesday, it came out on Thursday, and the order says it won't arrive until this Wednesday! It was supposed to be a birthday present aaaaa I want to listen to Marina........
