I had insomnia three nights ago, and stayed up later then was wise two nights ago, and slept like 11 hours last night, and damn I don't feel great this morning

The bed of no sleep where the mouth does not eat is referring to the mouth of a river meeting a lakebed. It's the first one they of these they encounter, and I'm okay if it takes them a while to solve it since there's other things happening at the start of the game to take their attention.
