So I got Dazai's good end and it was pretty not good? They end up on a half finished boat and row away to probably die basically. And I do kind of like that theoretically, but the game tries to make it romantic??? Ok so even though I dislike the trope of "protagonist ends up with abusive love interest who's 'changed'" I think it can be interesting in horror media. This happens in Harada stories a lot. But the thing is for it to work it the abuser needs to be taken out of the position of power? Like Harada's work usually has the love interest go through extreme phycological/physical torture so that they are kind of mentally broken afterwards so it's like... yeah sure I guess they are not really capable of abuse anymore or at least not in the same way.
